We all know that YouTube is humongous, whereby the respective video portal offers video viewers one of the largest libraries of videos, and even most Hollywood movie premiers have opt to advertise their clips through YouTube. Nevertheless, it seems that YouTube is enticing Hollywood for their upcoming pay-per-view movie service, whereby if the deal does go through, YouTube hopes to close the deal by the end of this year.

Generally, YouTube plans to charge consumers a minimal price of $5 for streaming new movie titles through their web portal – and do take note that this is a ‘streaming’ service, and not download. Basically, YouTube has been experimenting with the pay-per-view model earlier this year, and they did include some indie titles for consumers to view.

Personally, I believe that YouTube should have included such services years ago, as clearly, the pay-per-view service is truly workable – just think of Netflix, and I’m sure you’ll agree with me that there’s money to be made in the respective market niche, right?
