When AMD announced their much anticipated Fusion A-series platform, the hybrid CPU/GPU system drew tremendous attention from the consumer market, as clearly, the architecture boasts better power management when compared to the Intel counterpart. However, not many PC manufacturers have yet to adopt the architecture yet, but apparently, Toshiba can be considered as one of the earliest adopters for the AMD A-series.
Basically, Toshiba has just announced their latest quad-core Satellite L750D in which will be utilizing AMD’s brand-new mid-range quad-core A6-3400M chip and an AMD Radeon HD 6520G graphics core. In fact, if you opt for the respective combination, it will cost you a mere $10 over a similarly configured Satellite L755-S5258 with a dual-core Core i5-2410M processor, running on an integrated Intel graphics. Well, the respective system has a starting price of $699, and comes with 4GB of RAM, 640GB 5400RPM hard drive, and 15.6-inch with 1366 x 768 panel.
