Apparently, Skype 5.0 for Windows is now officially out of beta. In fact, Skype 5.0 also boasts several new features, whereby the respective software platform will now take advantage of Facebook Connect. Of course, you can now download the official version from their website, and start Skype-ing with your peers.
Personally, I find the Facebook Connect feature to be very interesting indeed. In fact, when you login your Facebook account using the software, the program will populate the News Feed area with Facebook updates. And most surprisingly, the respective program will even attach a Skype call and SMS button next to your Facebook friends, who have Skype accounts too – isn’t that wonderful. And to top that, Skype 5.0 also allows up to 10-way video calls with your peers – just imagine chatting with your Facebook peers, simply by using your Skype 5.0 program.
Surely, if you have yet to download Skype 5.0, perhaps it’s time that you should.
