Remember watching The Matrix part 3, whereby humans were seen manning large robots that wield huge machine guns which fires against the evil AI robots? Well apparently, such exoskeleton technology is already a reality, whereby the Sarcos XOS military exoskeleton was created more than 3 years ago.
Basically, the defense department has laid out a contract for researchers to manufacture the Sarcos XOS military exoskeleton, whereby this exoskeleton can assist the wearer, simply by magnifying the strength. On the other hand, this particular exoskeleton is on the verge of another evolution, whereby researchers are now developing the XOS 2, which features a lighter and stronger robotic suit, which uses 50% less energy when compared to its predecessor.
