For those who are searching for an alternative for the ASUS EEE Keyboard, should definitely take a look at the latest NorhTec Gecko Surfboard. Of course, this particular keyboard PC does not come with a tiny LCD screen, but it does come packed with basic computing hardware configurations.
According to the company, it seems that the NorhTec Gecko Surfboard runs on the 1GHz Xcore86 processor, and it will also come with 512MB of RAM. On the other hand, the company has yet to disclose on the type of storage that will come together with the keyboard, but rumors have said that it might come with either SD card or 2.5-inch hard drive configurations.
Price wise, the NorhTec Gecko Surfboard is available for purchase for just $99 for the Linux version, while if you want it come with Windows XP preloaded, then perhaps you should fork out an additional $50 on top of the $99.
