Just when the Droid created a storm amongst consumers as one of the coolest smartphones in the market, Motorola has already introduced the third generation of Droid phones, namely the Motorola Droid 3. Apparently, Motorola has somehow favored the Chinese market as the first recipient of the phone, and the Chinese won’t be calling it as the Droid, but rather the third Milestone.
The Motorola Droid 3 will be powered by a dual-core Tegra2 processor, and it has enough processing power to record 1080p videos too. Equipped with a 4-inch touchscreen, the display is qHD standard with 540x960 resolution. The Motorola Droid 3 is also equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, supports up 32GB built-in storage, and runs on the Android 2.3 as its operating system. Fancy the Droid 3? Well, you’ll have to get one in China then.
