Majority of the e-readers in the market are monochrome – provided some that offers a separate screen which offers limited color options. Well if you are searching for an e-reader which has color, perhaps the LiquavistaColor dev kit is something that you should seriously take a look at.
Generally, the Liquavista runs on Texas Instrument’s OMAP system-on-a-chip, and it also comes with a sleek QWERTY keyboard. On the other hand, what makes the Liquavista rather unique is the fact that it comes with an e-paper technology which offers color on its display.
Not sure when this particular e-reader will be available for the market, but if you are thinking of getting one of these color e-readers, I bet that the manufacturer has already set an exorbitant price for the respective e-reader.
