Cowon surely know how to make their electronics. Generally, the respective company has unveiled their next generation MID, dubbed as the Cowon W2. Of course, this particular MID comes in a sleek metallic casing – something that resembles the Sony Ericsson W880i mobile phone casing.
On the other hand, the Cowon W2 MID comes with a nifty 4.8-inch WSVGA screen. Also, the MID will be powered by the 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520. There’s 1GB of RAM available, and you can outfit it with either 60GB or 80GB HDD. Other features included are 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 2 USB and 1 miniUSB port. The battery can last you 10 hours in idle time, while 7 hours in video playback.
The Cowon W2 MID will be available for sale in Korea on January the 25th, for 599,000 to 739,000KRW (equivalent to $533 and $658 in US).
