Nanotechnology is gaining widespread acceptance amongst consumer electronics, and the latest development in nanotechnology involves something called the conductive nanocoating. Basically, nanotechnology is found on OLED panels, and some e-paper display panels also utilize such technology too.
And when you embed the conductive nanocoating onto a piece of cloth, this particular application conducts electricity, which opens up the possibility of future creations of wearable electronics devices that can be available on your clothes. Apparently, researchers use a technique called the atomic layer deposition, whereby the technique grows an inorganic coating which measures several times thinner than human hair atop of the cloths, in order to achieve conductivity. Well perhaps we’d be seeing more electronics clothes in the future than today? – Or maybe microprocessors can be imprinted on clothes in the future?
