Did you know that someone called Captain Piccard has manage to create something called the Solar Impulse, whereby this magnificent flying machine runs purely on solar power? Generally, the Solar Impulse is set to circle the world without performing any pit stops in between, and I find such feats to be truly magnificent, and perhaps crazy to the certain extent.
Nevertheless, Captain Piccard has tested his remarkable flying machine recently, whereby it has successfully flew up to 5,500 feet, with speeds that reached 30 knots. On the other hand, the Solar Impulse is set to circle the globe on 2012, which is just another 2 years ahead.
