Well the BlackBerry devices are one of the hottest cell phone devices on the planet – except for the fact that most BlackBerry users are now turning away to the Android and iPhones instead. Basically, a research has pointed out that BlackBerry’s marketshare has slipped down to a new low, whereby Google’s Android marketshare is capped at 27 percent, Apple iPhones at 23 percent, and RIM’s BlackBerry devices at 33 percent.
According to the survey, 89 percent of iPhone users are planning to get another iPhone for their own usage, while 71 percent of Android buyers are also interested in getting another Android device. And most shockingly, only 42 percent of existing BlackBerry users are interested in sticking to their BlackBerry devices.
Surely, RIM should do some serious research, if they plan to continue dominating the smartphone market, don’t you think so?
