We all know that the tsunami that swept through Japan just recently was extremely devastating, as the respective catastrophe has already caused several hundreds of billions of dollars in damages. Generally, various organizations have pledge to donate funds to help relieve the situation in Japan, and apparently, AT&T has also made similar pledges too.
According to AT&T, it seems existing subscribers can now make free calls to Japan, until the end of March. Basically, the free calling service will allow AT&T’s wireless postpaid subscribers to make unlimited calls to their family and friends in Japan, and the service also extends to their text messaging services too. On the other hand, wireline customers can request for up to 60 minutes of free calling credits to Japan too – isn’t that wonderful?
