With so many mobile phones being equipped with a camera onboard, I believe that the SLRs might soon be obsolete soon – at least this particular idea comes from Nokia’s CEO, Anssi Vanjoki.
Apparently, Anssi Vanjoki gave a speech in Helsinki, whereby he mentioned that apparently consumers will no longer need to carry those heavy lenses around to snap photos. On the other hand, Anssi Vanjoki also told his audience that HD video will be coming to phones, whereby these video phones might be available in as soon as 12 months time.
Personally, I find that camera phones have already substituted the SLRs considerably, whereby more and more people are already using their camera phones to snap photos, rather than using their SLR cameras.
